From motor vehicles, medical devices, toys, household appliances and sports equipment, all the way to pressure vessels, lifts, machinery, solar modules, sports boats, textiles and foods, Technical Inspection Agencies (TÜV) test and monitor almost all tradable products. With their competence, neutrality and objectivity, TÜV organisations ensure that manufacturers, trading partners, official authorities and consumers can trust in the conformity of products. Independent conformity assessment is, therefore, an integral part of well-functioning trade. The Association of Technical Inspection Agencies (VdTÜV e.V.) and its members support ambitious EU trade agreements and seek to make these a success by contributing specific solutions.
